No sewing experience is required, just the willingness to make a fabulous banner for 16 Days of Activism Penzance that can be used again and again to raise awareness.

Sara and Sarah describe themselves as 'craftivists', combining their interests in crafting and activism. They have a shop, Make A Mends, in Redruth where they provide a clothing repair service, sell repaired, embellished and hand made clothes and accessories and get involved in community projects. Recycling, repurposing and sustainable fashion is central to their practice. Last year they made over 50 banners for local businesses in Redruth.
