About the Event
Join 16 Days Penzance on International Women's Day (IWD) - Saturday 8th March - for a workshop/roundtable event to discuss the IWD 2025 theme 'accelerate action' in the context of eliminating violence against women and girls (VAWG). We are inviting everyone and anyone who wants to end VAWG to join us to explore how we can ‘accelerate action' in this area from the grassroots up. Whether you are a professional, survivor, parent, or if this issue simply concerns you, please come along and get involved.
16 Days Penzance aims to tackle the root causes of VAWG and raise awareness around this issue. How can work to make women and girls safer here in our local community - and what can we do to advocate for women and girls everywhere?
