An event to raise awareness of violence against women and girls and to call for accountability, marking the start of 16 Days of Activism Penzance. Everyone welcome!

West Cornwall Women's Aid, together with other community organisations, will be holding a solidarity night walk and Vigil in Penzance. The route begins at Wherrytown Car Park (oppostite Lidl) at 5.30pm (meet from 5pm - free hot drinks available, please bring your own cup if you can!), walking to St Mary's Church on Chapel Street, where there will be readings, performances and a candlelit vigil. We will be remembering the women who have lost their lives at the hands of a partner, former partner or family member. Hot soup will be served after the vigil.
