About the Event

Developed in collaboration with Photographic Artist Karen Brett, Falmouth University and West Cornwall Women’s Aid,, Unsettled features work by women who have fled domestic abuse, using photography to explore and reflect on their journeys – from refuge and temporary accommodation and for some, settling into more stable homes. Alongside the survivor’s perspectives is the work of the Resettlement Worker, whose participation was integral to the project. Through their images and words, the women examine both the physical and emotional spaces they have inhabited and continue to shape, revealing moments of uncertainty, resilience, and renewal.

The exhibition will open on 25/11/25 and will run for the 16 Days of Activism period and beyond. It is free to view and can be found on the 'Ramp Gallery' (on the way to the café).
