Hosted by Councillor Thalia Marrington, this session will be a practical,  inspiring and supportive session for all those ‘interested’ in how to stand for leadership roles and take up elected positions in their communities. If you’re one of those people, a do-er,  who wants to make an ‘actual ‘ difference, then come and find out about how you can get involved and be that change you want to see.

We’ll hear directly on Zoom from two newly elected female MPs who will describe their experiences and offer hints and tips and also have a discussion/ Q&A with Cllr Penny Osborne, who was recently elected to Penzance Town Council, and Councillor Marrington, who stood in this recent General Election.

It is relevant that next year is election year in Cornwall for Town, Parish and Cornwall councillor positions!  It’s all to play for and (drum roll please) whilst  women made…
